At Kapp Construction, our intention is to facilitate the government or civil institution's goals by by proposing creative solutions that accommodate budgets and schedule. We have successfully worked with a variety of clients in this area from court/detention facilities, fire stations and civic venues.
Clark County Juvenile Detention Center
This "tight" urban site allowed for excellent staging and coordination to be displayed by the professional project team at Kapp Construction. The facility consists of new cells, new exercise areas both indoor and out, and a state of the art security system, including new fire security additions. A new courtroom and clerk rooms were also added. The office of Judge Joseph Monnin was added to the new addition, and the existing magistrate’s offices were renovated.
We at Kapp Construction are very proud to have delivered this wonderful project. We always realize that construction on an operating entity can be quite disruptive, but the staff at the court took this all in stride, making for an exceptional result.

Hustead Fire & EMS
Wilmington City Building
This two-story, structural steel frame building with a composite concrete floor system was constructed to house the administrative offices of the city of Wilmington, Ohio, as well as the law enforcement offices and jail facility. Part of the challenge in Wilmington was to erect a secure facility that matched the traditional charm and décor of the downtown buildings.
The facility matches nicely with the charming downtown environment, while functioning securely for the city. The project budget was $4,750,000, which was met successfully through efficient methods of construction and management.
