Fairview Park Apartments

Despite delays during pre-construction, challenges excavating on a brownfield site and two rounds of historic flooding during construction, the Fairview Park Apartment project was still completed on time, allowing the owner to meet the deadline to qualify for substantial tax credits.

A recovery schedule was put in place, a site-wide dewatering program was developed and additional crews were called in to get the project back on schedule. Just nine days before the deadline, Kapp obtained the certificate of occupancy for the 12th and final building.

This project is a testament to the ability of Kapp Construction to react exceptionally to extraordinary problems and develop a proactive plan to deal with the additional encumbrances that could have delayed the project, while at the same time saving the owner a considerable amount of money.
