Richwood Bank - Delaware

On April 8th, 2011, local community members and leaders came together to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Richwood Banking Company's Delaware branch. The groundbreaking ceremony marked a new chapter for Richwood Bank, as the new facility, located just west of the downtown corridor, will serve as a tool to better serve the Delaware area community.

"We are excited about our new investment in Delaware" said Chad Hoffman, Richwood Bank Company President/CEO. "We are a community bank and want to become a valued resource for banking services in a facility that compliments the town. We look forward to working with the residents, small businesses and agricultural members of Delaware."

Kapp Construction, which previously built the Plain City branch for Richwood Bank, has been hired to oversee the building of the new facility. The 9,000 square foot facility will feature 5 teller stations and 3 drive up teller lanes. There will also be a drive up ATM for convenience. The exterior will be constructed of all natural materials, including locally mined limestone. The project is expected to be complete this winter.

"Richwood Banking is truly focused on their customers and we are pleased to be a part of this project that will allow them to serve the Delaware community," said Randy Kapp, President of Kapp Construction. "It is great to see the growth of a small business during these hard financial times."
