CURRENT OPENINGS

 

Senior Project Manager

Kapp Construction is currently seeking motivated and experienced Project Managers, responsible for projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, buy-out, overall direction, completion and financial outcome of multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients
  • Communicate with architects, owners, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ability to coordinate all construction project activities and personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget.
  • Securing and contracting all subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of people throughout a construction process.
  • Implement quality control, including full compliance with plans, specifications and contract agreements.
  • Facilitate jobsite meetings.
  • Create, manage and take full responsibility for project schedule, and collaborating with job superintendent on schedule.
  • Maintain project budgets
  • Managing the submittal process
  • Issuance and management of all onsite change orders
  • Provide close-out documents, including warranties, guarantees, punch-lists and other related documents at project conclusion.

 

Requirements

Must have project management experience in commercial construction and a degree in a related field. Must demonstrate a history of excellent project management skills with a resume of successful projects that have met quality standards, have been completed on or ahead of schedule and on or under budget. Candidates must have the capability to effectively manage client, owner, subcontractor, etc. relationships to achieve project goals.
